From Hong Kong to New Zealand, United Kingdom, Australia and now Italy

Born in the city of skyscrapers, where I can barely see the sky. I was fortunate to spend my youth under the beautiful long white cloud, Aotearoa. Then I spent over 20 years working for Fortune 500 technology companies in Australia, Europe, UK and the US.

Though I found the socially acceptable success in the corporate world, I felt empty inside. A void that only drawing and journaling could fill. For the sake of my sanity, I left the corporate life to become a self-taught artist.

My style swings between freeform watercolour, where the healing colours flow naturally, and precise line work that requires focus and precision—skills I honed in the technology world.

I also love including small, often unexpected details—little surprises that invite the viewer to look deeper.

Now, I’m starting a new chapter in Tuscany, Italy. I am eager to immerse myself in a new culture, even though I don’t yet speak the language (which will only be my third-and-a-half language to master). This move reflects my love of challenges and borderline insanity.

Through my art, I explore the layers of my identity, multiculturalism, telling stories of change, healing, and the pursuit of my true north.
